ORRRRRRRRRR... Bad, Bad Johnny L.

Ok, I start with a brief prelude.... a bit of a different post today... just to change things up.

On the south side of Chicago...
Jonny Lester was light's out
And it was yesterday
When Jonny had his way
And made Ozzie Guillen pout

Now Jonny, Jonny Lester
You see he stands about 6 foot 2
And when he takes the mound
No matter what the town
He'll pitch 7 frames for you

And he's bad, bad, Jonny L.

Now Jonny, he's a lefty
And he threw 7 scoreless frames
With just four hits, he gave the White Sox fits
And the Red Sox won the game

He's got a 96 or 7 fastball
He's got a nasty slider too
And if you're at the dish, you just better wish
He doesn't throw ole "Number 2"

And he's bad, bad, Jonny L.

And Sunday, bout a day ago
Jonny Lester struck out 8
And he only walked 2, cuz he was in a groove
And not a runner crossed home plate.

But Jonny, needed all his friends
To win alone would be so hard
And Pedey saved the day, with an awesome double play
VMart and Mikey went yard

And he's bad, bad, Jonny L.
Makes the batters say "What the hell?"

So Jonny... beat the White Sox
And recorded his 200th "K"
And the wild card lead, now stands at 3
As the Rangers had a bad day

Ok, ok... I won't quit my day job (when I find one)...

Anyway, Jacoby led the way with 3 hits, a walk and ANOTHER steal - #59 !!! VMart had 2 hits including a 3-run big fly in the 9th. JBay had a couple of hits and an rbi (#98 !!!). Mikey had a 2-run bomb early (and game winning rbi). JD and Gonzo each had a double....

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOW... Beckett is on the bump today..... AGAINST..... Mark "Perfect Game" Buehrle... OBVIOUSLY, this COULD be a classic... Beckett needs to bring his "A" game, even though Buehrle hasn't pitched well since his achievement.... NUF CED

As always..... it's been real..... it's been fun..... and this post REALLY was lots of fun !!!!
